I'm going to spend some time with my flowers now. More photos later :)

My roses 6: Rosa pimpinellifolia 'Plena'
Finnish midsummer rose. My Granny planted this about 50 years ago and it's just getting lovlier every year :)
My roses 4: Rosa Pimpinellifolia 'Linnanmäki'
One of my loveliest roses. It has been found near the Linnanmäki amusement park in Helsinki. I've bought mine, though. It's two years old in the photo. Sadly it didn't like the wet weather much, so I didn't get a decent photo of it's flowers last summer...
Midsummer...
Probably the worst of my weeds has got many names: bishop's weed, ground-elder, snow-in-the-mountain.
These are not weeds at all. It's a lovely midsummer sauna birch whisk :)
My flowers 35: Primula
Bought this lovely primrose from the flea market. I'm not sure if it is Primula Polyantha or Primula vulgaris...
Bulbs: Tulipa x greigii "Red Riding Hood"
The foliage of these tulips is just stunning.
"But, grandmother, what big eyes you have," said Red Riding Hood.
My flowers 34: Hosta
I've got some different kind of hostas. Most of them I have bought from the local flea market and some of them I have swapped. Therefore I don't know most of the variety names. Here's one of them with a marvellous fresh green foliage, but the flowers aren't so dull looking either. I'll post a photo of the foliage later on.

My flowers 31:Papaver oriental 'Coral Reef'
Poppy opens... or not. I bought the seeds couple of years ago from Thompson&Morgan. They were large enough to open last summer, but the constant rain rottened them before they opened. Maybe this year I'll be lucky enough to see the coral reef :)
My flowers 30: Aquilegia vulgaris ´Woodside Strain´
Bought the seeds from Jelitto. Only one of them germinated, but the result was spectacular. Look at the foliage below! Sadly I haven't seen it anywhere this year...
My flowers 29: Campanula latifolia
These giant bellflowers and aquilegias are growing under the rose bushes.
My flowers 27: Lychnis chalcedonica 'carnea'
Bought seeds from Jelitto, Germany about four years ago. It was bit of a disappointment at first, because the colour was bit lame... but I have started to like it.
My roses 2: Rosa 'Splendens' Valamonruusu
The Rose of Valamo. Valamo Monastery is located in Karelia, Russia, but it was formerly in Finland. One of the brightest colours I have ever seen!
Bulbs: Lilium martagon x hansonii
This lovely lily was taller than me. Unfortunately the moles ate it this winter! It seems there are few baby bulbs around, so maybe one day I will see this marvellous flower again....
Wild flowers: Burdock flower
The plant is taller than me... It's so beautiful and irritating at the same time.
My flowers 25: Lychnis arkwrightii 'Vesuvius'
Bought the seeds of this spectacular flower somewhere from England. It hasn't spread much, but it has survived the wet, but cold winters.
My flowers 24: Delphinium
Got some seeds of this larkspur from one seed chain letter. Delphinium grandiflorum, I suppose?
Bulbs: Tulipa gesneriana Crispa
A delight, which disappeared after one spring. Might buy these again, though...
My flowers 16: Geum coccineum "Borisii"
My mother bought this from the local market and planted this around 1987. Apparently it loves the soil of our garden.
My flowers 15: Aquilegia flabellata var. pumila
So tiny and sweet. Really hard to take photographs of it, because it's just about 10 cm tall :)
My flowers 14: Bleeding heart
One of my favourites. My Granny had one of these, a huge one, when I was a kid, but it disappeared during one of the coldest winters. Hopefully this survives, it's only three years old.
My flowers 13: peony
My granny planted this peony decades ago. It might be Sarah Bernhardt... It's so beautiful!

My roses 1: Maidens Blush?
This is the one I am not sure about. Could it be Rosa alba Maidens Blush? I got a tiny root sprout of it from my friend's garden and apparently it has been in her garden "always". The blossoms are nearly white, but turn later to be more and more pink. The fragrance is heavenly!
Sadly the hares liked how it tasted this winter and it was nearly all gone. No blossoms this summer :(
Some of my old fashioned roses
I love old roses! There are five of them in this border at the moment.
Rosa Pimpinellifolia "Linnanmäki", Rosa Pimpinellifolia "Poppius", Rosa Pimpinellifolia "Papula", Rosa 'Splendens' "Valamonruusu" and one which I am not sure about.
My flowers 12: Aquilegia 'William Guinness'
From seed. Lovely, but awfully hard to take photos of :)
My flowers 11: Geranium 'Splish Splash'
This is one of my favourite plants, even when it rains all the time (like it did last summer). I bought the seeds from Thompson & Morgan. Only one seed germinated, but that's enough. The plant is huge :)
My flowers 6: Lilium martagon
I dag 15 of these from my previous home's backyard before we moved out. The house was built in 1880 something and there were some old flowers still hidden all around the backyard. There were hundreds and hundreds of these! Anyway, I took 15 with me in 2003 and now there are over 30 of them :)
My flowers 5: Miss Willmott's Ghost
I have sown this beautiful, but spikey Eryngium giganteum from seed. I think I bought the seed from Thompson & Morgan four years ago and it has been surprisingly hardy. Later it turns to be all grey, like all the proper ghosts :)
My flowers 4: Iris
Lovely yellow Iris. I have sown this from seed, but can't remember which Iris it was. I have lost my "very important book" with all the previous seed information and therefore can't remember a thing. Sigh.
My flowers 3: They're like candy
